PITTI PALACE & 2 Gardens - BOBOLI and BARDINI

PITTI PALACE & 2 Gardens - BOBOLI and BARDINI

The Pitti Palace was bought along with the garden by Eleonora of Toledo, wife of the Grand Duke Cosimo I and it became the residence of the Medici family.

Over the centuries in the Pitti Palace lived the Medici and the Lorena families and the King of Italy.
Our tour will start from the Palatine Gallery that occupies the rooms of the main floor of the palace and contains works by Raphael, Titian, Caravaggio, Rubens, Pietro da Cortona and many other famous Italian and European painters.
Then we will visit the Boboli Gardens, a magnificent example of the monumental Italian-style garden. Walking through avenues and past fountains, we will get to the fortifications of the Belvedere fortress, from where we will access the Bardini garden; the tour will end at the coffee house of the garden from which you can enjoy a breathtaking view of Florence, sipping a drink.

Note: Your ticket is valid also to visit the Silver Museum, The Modern Art Gallery and the Costume Gallery, all in Pitti.
